Premier Sotheby’s International Realty has named three new managing brokers to bolster leadership in Florida’s most critical markets, including Sarasota, Longboat Key, Orlando, and Ocala. These changes come as the luxury real estate company expands its footprint, now operating 40 offices across Florida and North Carolina with more than 1,200 agents under its banner.
Carrie Prieto will assume leadership of the Sarasota and Longboat Key offices on October 12, stepping down from her current responsibilities overseeing Southwest Orlando, Southeast Orlando, and Ocala. With two decades in real estate, Prieto has specialized in sales, marketing, and brokerage management. Her move shows the company’s commitment to reinforcing its position in high-end coastal markets where demand remains strong.
In Central Florida, Andre Williamson has been appointed managing broker for the Southwest and Southeast Orlando offices. Williamson brings close to 20 years of experience, including leadership roles in district management, advisor development, and large-scale training initiatives. His expertise in new-home sales, operations, and technology implementation aligns with the firm’s priorities for agent support and market performance.
Patricia Kant will lead the Ocala office while continuing to serve as managing broker for Seminole County and Port Orange. She has held leadership positions within the brokerage for over a decade, focusing on driving growth in luxury real estate segments. These appointments reflect a broader strategy to consolidate oversight in Florida’s fastest-growing real estate areas.
Luxury real estate firms often adjust leadership structures during periods of shifting demand, particularly in regions experiencing price increases. Sarasota and Orlando have seen consistent price growth, while Ocala’s luxury market has expanded as wealthy buyers pursue secondary residences. The new hires signal Premier Sotheby’s intention to leverage localized expertise in these evolving markets.
Jackie Thiel, president of Premier Sotheby’s, emphasized that the new brokers’ ability to support advisor development and uphold brand standards would be instrumental. Prieto’s cross-market experience was highlighted as especially valuable for Sarasota’s competitive luxury sector, while Williamson’s coaching background was identified as key for Orlando’s high-volume brokerage operations.
The company operates within the Sotheby’s International Realty network, which merges its legacy as a 1744-founded auction house with contemporary brokerage services. Its affiliation with Compass International Holdings and Peerage Realty Partners further enhances resources for agent training and market analytics.
